Meet Kathy.

 

 

Kathy began her career as an art professor in 1976, working at The Ohio State University and the University of Cauca, South America. She took a brief hiatus from her passion for paint and collages to build a media firm. In the late 70s she became marketing manager for ATC, American Telecommunications Corporation, which was the largest cable operator in the US.  She headed up the subscriber test launch offering an additional 12 channels of networks, bringing the total offered to 24. The power of the TV ads was made known through putting the launch ads on their local ad avails on channels such as ESPN, USA, CNN etc. The success of the campaign made it the national model. Her creative nature and entrepreneurial spirit lead her to found CTV Media, Inc. in 1980. The company began as a local cable rep firm operating out of her home. She was never far away from making art. She built a studio in Ocala, FL to house large semi truck parts. She has been refining her craft over several years.

 

Kathy founded and served as chairman of the board for the former Legacy for Children Foundation to fight for children’s causes. She is also is the owner of Foxridge Farms, which hosted a recreational horseback riding program for disadvantaged children. She owns the equestrian center in Columbus, OH and Ocala, FL.

 

Kathy holds a bachelors and a MFA degree in Fine Arts from The Ohio State University.
